Mr. Lim has M.Sc. degrees in Mineral and Petroleum Engineering Department from Seoul National University in South Korea. He joined KNOC in 1992 and has worked mainly in exploration and production of oil and gas projects. Mr Lim was Managing Director of KNOC’s UK office from 2018 to 2020 and is currently Senior Executive Vice President for the Exploration and Production Division at KNOC.

Mr Choi was appointed Alarish Petroleum’s CEO in May 2024, having served as the company’s Director of Strategy and Technology since 2021. He has a bachelor’s degree in geology from Korea University and joined KNOC in 2019. He has worked on various oil & gas projects and has held a number of senior roles within KNOC, including General Manager of New Ventures and Vice President of Ankor E&P Holdings - KNOC’s subsidiary in US for GOM Operations.  

Dr Son joined Alarish Petroleum in May 2024. He holds a doctoral degree in engineering and has significant E&P experience as General Manager within KNOC’s Asian, European and North America businesses. He was also a senior manager within Harvest Operations Corporation - KNOC’s subsidiary in Canada.

Brian joined Alarish Petroleum in October 2023. He was formerly General Manager of Production Operations at CNOOC in Aberdeen, before which he managed the company’s Buzzard Field. A former OIM with Total, John has 35 years of North Sea oil and gas experience.

Iyan joined Alarish in 2019 as Financial Controller. He previously worked at Maersk Oil and ExxonMobil. Ewan has an honours degree in accountancy from the University of Dundee and is member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Mr Song, Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting Department of KNOC, joined the company in 2020 and has built career in the fields of accounting, tax and internal audit, mainly with senior roles, such as Controller, General Manager of tax team.

He majored in Business Administration and Accounting in Chungnam National University, having a bachelor’s degree.

Mr Lim has a bachelor’s degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Inha University in Korea. He joined KNOC in 2021 and has worked mainly in exploration and production of oil and gas projects.

He was appointed SVP of KNOC’s Overseas Business Dept. I in 2022 and is currently SVP of Exploration and Production within the Overseas Business Dept. II.

Dr Elliot has over 35 years experience in the oil and gas industry and has previously worked for a wide range of oil companies in the UK and internationally, most recently with the Korea National Oil Corporation
